Decathlon Israel is launching a new app for online shopping. Decathlon’s mobile app has been operating since 2014 in France and is now available in 30 different countries, including Israel.

Mobile devices are the most common way to browse the internet today, accounting for 61% of traffic, with approximately 44% of online sales made through mobile devices. Consumers worldwide spent over 50 billion hours on shopping apps last year, a 42% increase compared to 2020.

Decathlon’s new app offers a wide range of innovative products and services, sports equipment for over 70 different types of sports at various levels, from beginners to professionals. The app’s development is part of the company’s goal: to make various sports accessible to many, enabling everyone to buy quality and stylish sports products. The app emphasizes speed, ease of use, and personalization tailored to the user’s favorite sports, offering options for favorite stores and more.

The new app features a wide variety of products, a quick and secure purchasing process, personalized notifications, purchase tracking, and an enhanced in-store experience with a comprehensive product catalog and quick barcode scanning for checking product availability.

Additionally, we have seen close to triple-digit growth compared to last year just from app purchases. Now, we are excited to launch the app to the Israeli audience.
